Broccoli, Peach, Banana, Chia, Nutricardia [High Antioxidant] Green Smoothie Recipe That Tastes Good
In this episode of “RECIPES FOR MY DAUGHTER”, I am sharing one of our regular green smoothie recipes (that tastes good!).
Here, I use broccoli, one ripe peach that’s in season, and two ripe bananas, with 6 tablespoons of chia seeds for plant based omega 3.
To enhance the antioxidant and phytonutrient content as well as taste of this green smoothie, I add Nutricardia from E. Excel, a wholesome plant food dietary supplement made of plant foods that are really high in antioxidants, without added sugar (it uses stevia).
I use a Vitamix blender which blends this up really nicely and smoothly, and also grinds up the chia seeds really well so that we can access the omega 3 content inside the ‘shells’.
Green smoothies are a fantastic way to increase your intake of healing and anti-inflammatory foods: leafy greens and cruciferous vegetables as well as plant based omega 3 fatty acids.
Green smoothies are a regular in our diet as they are incredibly helpful as one of our autoimmune health solutions or ‘tools’.
