There are many ways to make fried rice. In this video, I’m making a very simple version of fried rice that’s made only with rice that’s been cooked several hours beforehand, and vegetables I happened to have on hand: garlic chives, carrots, and fresh corn kernels.

The basic ‘spices’ for this fried rice are shallots and garlic. I also use very basic seasonings: sea salt, pepper, nutritional yeast (optional), gluten free tamari sauce or soy sauce, and gluten free sweet sauce for rice.
